You Can Now Shop These African Brands In London

We’re living in a time where everyone is on the ‘buy Nigerian to grow the naira’ wave, and we’re more interested in wearing local fashion brands than ever before. These clothes are easily accessible to us who live in the country, but not so much to those living in the diaspora.

To remedy this, Style House Files, in collaboration with Nigerian Export Promotion Council, partnered with OKAPI for a semi-permanent pop-up at The Place, London with AAKS and  Lisa Folawiyo.

Online stores like Oxosi and OnChek have made it possible for us to shop some luxury brands via the internet, but there’s the limitation of sizing, not being able to see the fabric in the flesh etc. Those are just some of the issues pop-ups such as this fix.
