Tulisoma South Dallas Book Fair will highlight African-American books, authors | Community Column

The dinner will honor three individuals noted for producing and promoting African-American literature. Married couple Wade Hudson and Cheryl Willis Hudson — writers, founders and co-owners of Just Us Books publishing company in East Orange, N.J. — will receive the Griggs Lifetime Achievement Award in Literature. Emma Rodgers — a ubiquitous matron of black history, black literary, and black performing arts in Dallas — will receive the Griggs Literary Champion Award.
