Tufton takes wellness to the region with Caribbean Moves  

Minister of Health Dr Christopher Tufton launched a regional health and wellness campaign at the United Nations General Assembly in New York last week.

Caribbean Moves borrows from the popular local initiative of a similar name ‘Jamaica Moves’ and promotes regular physical activity and healthy eating through exciting and fun programs.

Speaking at the launch of the campaign at the CARICOM Breakfast meeting, Tufton stated that the move towards a regional program resulted from introduction and examination of the Jamaica Moves initiative in May of 2018 by several heads of government in the region.
