Jonathan Green, a native of the South Carolina Lowcountry whose paintings reflect the southern experience, visited Orangeburg recently to talk about the importance of agriculture, artistry and African American contributions.

“Most of my work is about what people do every day: working in the kitchen, working out on the farms, preparing for the day, celebrations of life – something you would want to put on your wall and feel good about, feel excited about,” Green told those attending the 2018 Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon on April 25 at Orangeburg Country Club.

The luncheon was hosted by the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce and presented by the SI Group.
