To The DailyIt appears this (Lawrence County education) administration is trying to roll back to the early ’50s as it relates to hiring African Americans. Under this administration, there have only been two African-American people employed, and there have been several positions open at two Lawrence County high schools, and one at the Board of Education — for the position of secretary to the special education department.

Also, recently there was a bookkeeper job opening at Lawrence County High School. In all of these positions, the administration has hired only Caucasian Americans. It appears the community needs to stand up and say enough is enough and everyone who is qualified and applies…
