A Florida teacher has been suspended after he allegedly used racial slurs in class and told a group of students not to date African-Americans “because they are not worth it,” according to a school district investigation. 

David Swinyar, who teaches at Kernan Middle School in Jacksonville, Fla., received a 10-day suspension without pay following a Duval County School District investigation into the allegations, Action News Jax reported. According to the investigation, multiple students were witnesses to incidents involving Swinyar using the “N-word” and displaying “aggressive” behavior toward his class.
