News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Thurs. July 12, 2018: A second man has been slapped with a first-degree murder charge in the June 18th killing of Caribbean American rapper, XXXTentacion.

Broward County Sheriff detectives believe Michael Boatwright, 22, is the second gunman who murdered the rapper, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy.

According to the Sheriff’s department, just before 4 p.m. on June 18th, Boatwright and another armed accomplice confronted Onfroy in an apparent robbery as he was leaving RIVA Motorsports.

News Americas, SUNRISE, FL, Thurs. June 28, 2018: Thousands of a largely young but diverse fan-base braved 90-degree heat to stand in line patiently outside the BB&T Arena in Sunrise, FL, Wednesday to bid a final adieu to Caribbean-American rapper, XXXTentacion.

Many traveled across the country and Florida to file by the open casket of the rapper, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, in Planation, FL, 20 years ago.  A number emerged from the hockey arena in tears and emotionally shaken from the experience. Police in golf carts watched the crowd while the musician’s song “Sad!” played.

Black Panther honoured at BET Awards as Meek Mill pays tribute to XXXTentacion


Jamie Fox hosted the annual awards ceremony, which celebrate African Americans and other American minorities in music, film and sports, for the second time.

Among the winners on the night were DJ Khaled, Bruno Mars and Migos while Nicki Minaj performed.

Superhero blockbuster Black Panther scooped the Best Movie Award and during his acceptance speech at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, director Ryan Coogler urged audiences to visit Africa, saying his journey there “changed my life”.

Jamaican Producer for XXXTentacion to Release Tracks : South Florida Caribbean News

LAUDERHILL – A Jamaican music producer who worked with slain rapper XXXTentacion plans to release songs he recorded with the troubled artist who was murdered on June 18 by gunmen.
