As they announced in September, the Warriors did not make the traditional trip to the White House to celebrate their 2017 NBA championship after President Donald Trump tweeted that they weren’t invited.

Instead, via a news release, the Warriors said they would “constructively use our trip to the nation’s capital in February to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion — the values that we embrace as an organization.”

They did just that on Tuesday, before playing the Wizards in D.C., by visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture with students from Kevin Durant’s hometown.

Durant told reporters what he hoped the students would get out of the trip the day before, per The Mercury News:
