WASHINGTON — The Society of American Foresters (SAF) hires longtime SAF member and forestry advocate Terry Baker to be the first African American to lead the 118-year-old organization. Baker most recently served as the Deputy Forest Supervisor on the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland in Fort Collins, Colorado.
