Royal Caribbean To Restrict Emotional Support Animals From Cruises


(RTTNews) – Cruise operator Royal Caribbean International (RCL) reportedly has updated its policy and will no longer allow its passengers to bring emotional support animals for cruise.

According to Royal Caribbean Blog.com, the cruise operator has announced that that effective immediately emotional support animals may not sail onboard Royal Caribbean International ships.

The report says the cruise line cites that emotional support animals are not recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

If passengers made reservations to sail with emotional support animals before July 30, they will still be allowed on board.

Earlier, Southwest Airlines had also announced that it will restrict the travel of emotional support animals on its airplanes.
