Police catch burglary suspect after two hour search


KENNEWICK, WA- Police arrested a burglary suspect after searching for him for two hours Saturday night.

Police originally received a call around 7 p.m. after a homeowner in the area of W 22nd Ave spotted an suspicious male in their backyard. Officers later spotted the male at W 20th Ave where he was burglarizing the home. When the suspect noticed officers he took off on foot and ran through the residential area.

For about two hours Kennewick police searched for the suspect in the area, closing down roads and deploying K-9s. Eventually they were able to locate the suspect inside of a garage on S Sheppard Place and take him into custody.
