New Barbados ambassador to OAS presents credentials


The Organization of American States (OAS) says the new Permanent Representative of Barbados, Noel Lynch, on Wednesday presented his credentials to the secretary general of the organization, Luis Almagro.

Ambassador Lynch said Barbados sees the hemispheric body “as the premier multilateral organization in the Americas working to promote dialogue and to strengthen peace.” 

The new ambassador also pledged his country’s continuing commitment to support “the programmes and activities in the critical areas of democracy, human rights, multidimensional security, and integral development which constitute the four pillars of this organization.”
