New African American & Africana Studies Research Opportunity! | Public

AAAS is initiating a paid independent research program for up to five students who are interested in studying history, art, and culture within African, African American, Afro-Caribbean, and/or Afro-Latinx contexts.

The program is designed specifically for first and second year students who can commit to working with AAAS faculty from November 2018 through May 2019, and to carrying out an eight-week research project during the 2019 Summer Fellows Program. The Summer Fellows stipend is $2,500. The program will also fund conference travel in the 2019-2020 academic year.
