Missing African cat returned to its owner in Pelham

A pet African cat that went missing from its home in Pelham more than three weeks ago has been captured and returned to its owner, according to Pelham police. 

The cat, an African Serval named Juno, went missing from it’s home April 24, police said. The cat is around eight months old and weighs about 25 pounds, police said. 

A local business owner spotted the cat Thursday. A trap was set in the area, and police found the cat safe in the trap Thursday night, police said. 

The cat has been reunited with it’s owner. 

Felicia Wilson first asked for helping finding Juno through social media May 1, asking for help locating her African serval. She said got out of the front door of her home on Chandalar Court as her daughter was leaving for school.
