Letter: Aiken NAACP celebrates 100 years | Opinions and Editorials

It’s great to see positive news relating to the African-American community in the Aiken Standard. The Center for African American History, Art and Culture is poised to be a premier Aiken tourism destination, but the community must support the institution. The Aiken County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a proud sponsor of the weekend of free events that culminated Sunday with our 100th anniversary celebration.
