Harambee Festival brings in thousands to celebrate African culture

TALLAHASSEE, Fla (WCTV) — While this may be the last weekend in February and Black History Month, in downtown Tallahassee it ended with a celebration. The annual Harambee Festival was held in Cascades Park.

The festival is put on by FAMU and showcases all of the great traditions of African history.

It also recognizes those who have come to this country and have made an impact in the community.
