“Greenville Groves” as part of African American Music Trail


GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) – Greenville Groves” as part of African American Music Trail.
“Music is the universal language,” said Carroll Dashiell, who headlined the event and helped plan it, “This particular show has something for everybody in it.”

A part of the Eastern North Carolina African American Music Trail, organizers of the free concert said they wanted the event to bring a diverse group of people together to celebrate some of the most influential music from the area.

The event featured food stands, games, and art activities and was organized by the City of Greenville, Uptown Greenville and the Greenville-Pitt County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
