For African-Americans, a fear of recession

In the latest edition of the Marketplace-Edison Research Poll, more African-Americans say they fear a recession is near than whites. And twice as many African-Americans than whites believe the next recession will affect them. 

There’s a pretty good reason for that fear — the last recession hit blacks harder and many still haven’t fully recovered.
