Eritrea hosts African Cup cycling competition – display page

(EBC; Nov 21, 2018) – Eritrean Cycling Federation in cooperation with the African Cycling Confederation is hosting African Cup Cycling competition, which is the first of its kind, from 21 to 25 November in 2018.


Teams participating in the tournament include Ethiopia, Benin, Egypt, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Africa and hosting nation Eritrea.


Sponsored by Eritrea, African Cup Cycling competition is recognized by the International Cycling Union (UCI) and includes men and women categories as well as a chronometer.


According to the UCI report the Eritrean cycling national team stands second at African level following South Africa.
