CWC preparing Caribbean network for hurricane season


Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC), part of Liberty Global’s Liberty Latin America unit, has announced a number of measures in preparation for the forthcoming hurricane season following the significant impact caused by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria on its operations in the Caribbean last year. The company’s Flow brand has already completed a series of hurricane drills across its markets and has begun customer awareness campaigns, with CWC also investing in new mobile towers built specifically to withstand category 5 wind conditions.
