News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Thurs. July 12, 2018: While many Caribbean soccer fans like their English counterparts were left gutted Wednesday afternoon after England’s semi-final loss to Croatia in the 2018 World Cup, a Caribbean roots player who was in tears after the result, is now predicting the team will “be back.”

Marcus Rashford, 20, who was born in Wythenshawe, Manchester and is of Kittitian descent took to Twitter to tweet after the loss: “Really tough right now but this team’s special.. we’ll be back. Hopefully this is the start of the future. #ThreeLions.”

Rashford lay devastated on the ground after the pain of the final whistle Wednesday….
