Caribbean Airlines opts for Boeing 737 MAX 8

Caribbean Airlines has selected Boeing’s 737 MAX 8 aircraft to replace renew its single-aisle fleet.

The 737 MAX 8 jets will replace the airline’s current fleet, Boeing suggests, with delivery of the 12 aircraft anticipated in the coming years.

“The 737 MAX allows us to continue offering a safe and comfortable experience for our passengers, while significantly improving fuel efficiency and environmental performance,” said Caribbean Airlines chief executive officer, Garvin Medera. “All of these elements position us for long-term success.”
