Black business owners plan a BOOM to boost bottom line


KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) African-American business owners are hoping to reach more people in Central Texas, and they’re starting by getting to known each other better on Saturday.

Real estate investor Eugene Alexander has spent most of his life in Killeen.

After travelling and attending dozens of networking events across the state, he noticed a lack of representation of people of color.

According to the Nielsen Company, African Americans spend $1.2 trillion in the U.S. every year.
