ANSA Caribbean Awards for Excellence set for May 12

The ANSA McAL Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Trinidadian-based ANSA McAL Group, will host the Anthony N Sabga (ANSA) Caribbean Awards for Excellence on Saturday, May 12  at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

The programme recognizes Caribbean people who have excelled in the areas of Arts & Letters, Entrepreneurship, Public & Civic Contributions and Science & Technology. This year will see a Jamaican, Professor Kei Miller, being awarded for his sterling contribution as a poet and novelist. He will be the fourth Jamaican laureate since the first ceremony in 2006.
