Another Ernst & Young veteran joins Royal Caribbean board

Stephen R. Howe Jr., retired US chairman and managing partner, Ernst & Young, was appointed to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s board of directors, effective immediately.

Expert on diversity and inclusion

RCL chairman and CEO Richard Fain welcomed Howe, noting that his 35 years of involvement in professional services, as well as his experience with diversity and inclusion, will be a valuable addition to the board.

Howe served as Ernst & Young’s US chairman and managing partner and Americas area managing partner and was a member of EY’s Global Executive Board from 2006 until his retirement this month. While leading EY in the US and the Americas, he was the executive sponsor for the firm’s focus on diversity and inclusiveness.
