After dispute, African migrant stabs Tel Aviv store owner with his own knife

Police were searching Tel Aviv late Sunday night for an African migrant accused of stabbing a store owner, after a fight between the two.

According to the initial police report, the 60-year-old shopkeeper chased the migrant from his store with a knife. The suspect is said to have grabbed the weapon from the store owner and stabbed him in the shoulder.

“The owner of a store chased a foreign worker with a knife. The foreign worker then stabbed the shop owner with that same knife,” police said.

Police confirmed to The Times of Israel that the suspect is an African migrant and said it was possible he acted in self-defense….
