African Genesis Institute looking to send Philly youths to Egypt | Metros

The African Genesis Institute hosted a free information session Feb. 25 at the African-American Museum in its efforts to sponsor a free trip to Egypt for 100 students, ages seven to 14 and 50 adult group leaders.

This sponsored event is part of the annual Teen Summit program the African Genesis Institute has sponsored to give young children and adults the opportunity to visit Africa.

African Genesis Institute is a nonprofit “School Without Walls” ran by founders Ali and Helen Salahuddin for African-American and Latino youth.
