African cuisine and culinary excellence from Congo


In this podcast series celebrating Africa, Pan-African restaurateur Chef Coco Reinarhz takes Africa State of Mind presenter Lee Kasumba through Africa’s culinary history. He also tells Lee of how he and his family left Burundi for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and how his global travels influenced his cooking styles.

Chef Coco’s conversation with Lee mainly touched on the influence his mother had on his love for food. He adds that her death was a circumstance he had to overcome.
