African American Museum of Bucks County building on education efforts – News – Bucks County Courier Times

Organizers are trying to raise $10,000 to keep its educational programs going in 2018.

Volunteers with the African American Museum of Bucks County are trying to find a permanent home for their traveling showcase while continuing their mission to depict the role blacks have played in the county’s history. 

The mobile museum has made dozens of stops over the last several years to share its cultural and educational programs at area businesses, communities, libraries, churches and other venues. Its most recent stop was in February at the First Baptist Church in Langhorne for a presentation of “Black History Live.”
