African American Catholic history to be celebrated

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and its African American Catholic Ministry will host its 33rd annual African American Catholic Day of Reflection in conjunction with the 32nd annual African American Catholic History Celebration on Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 West Broadway.

The theme of the event is “From Maintenance to Mission.” Reverend Maurice Emelu will give the keynote address. Other presenters include Dr. Veronica Morgan-Lee, Deacon Royce Winters, M. Annette Mandley-Turner, Charmein Weathers and Janice Mulligan.
